Yesterday was a big day for Apple as they held their annual summer World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC). For many years now, iPhone users were itching for a completely new design of the iOS. Apple finally listened and introduced the world to the iOS 7.
The iOS 7 is the biggest update to the operating system since the first iPhone. They added a ton of new features like Control Centre (which it desperately needed!), AirDrop, iTunes Radio and more. Apple also refreshed their current features like the Notification Centre, Multitasking, and Safari.
I am most excited about AirDrop, Control Centre, and iTunes Radio. Finally iPhone users will be able to share information with one another with AirDrop!
Overall, I feel like these features aren’t anything new. Apple’s competitors have been doing this for quite some time now and now they are playing the catch up game.
The iOS 7 update won’t be available until fall, just in time for the new iPads and iPhone.
